NEXTORCH myTorch 1600 Lumens EDC Flashlight

NEXTORCH myTorch is a 1600 lumens EDC flashlight designed for tactical, outdoor and everyday use. It combines a compact, ergonomic body with a tactical tail switch for convenient one-handed operation.

Brightness and Runtime

According to the manufacturer, the default factory parameters are:

• Extreme mode: 1600 lumens, 2 hours 30 minutes, 270 m beam distance, 18,225 cd
• High mode: 1600 lumens, 2 hours 30 minutes, 270 m beam distance, 18,225 cd
• Medium mode: 800 lumens, 3 hours 15 minutes, 190 m beam distance, 9,025 cd
• Low mode: 160 lumens, 9 hours, 85 m beam distance, 1,806 cd

These parameters are tested according to the ANSI/PLATO FL1 standard with one NEXTORCH 18650 lithium-ion rechargeable battery at 23 °C ± 3 °C. Performance may vary with different batteries or environments. After customising the lighting modes, the device runs according to the preset and parameters may differ.

Thermal Management

The flashlight is equipped with NEXTORCH’s U.T.B (Ultra Thermal Buffer) chamber, which uses PCM phase-change material together with a temperature-control chip to actively store and transfer heat. This supports 1600 lumens high brightness, extends high-brightness duration and keeps the temperature below 50 °C for a comfortable grip.

Charging and Battery

The flashlight uses Type-C charging with an internally waterproof charging design. It has a built-in 2600 mAh 18650 lithium-ion battery for long runtime, and the remaining battery level is visible.

Build and Durability

The body is made of 304 stainless steel with a multi-layer coating for rich, lasting colour and a fine, comfortable feel. It is drop-resistant from 1 metre and has an IPX4 waterproof rating. The anti-roll body design and tactical tail switch support easy daily carry and one-handed operation.

Customisation and Accessories

The flashlight supports Bluetooth connection to an applet for customising lighting modes and saving scene-specific modes. It is also compatible with a diffuser accessory to unlock more lighting options.
